an encouraging note

One of my favorite things is to give and receive hand written notes. I love seeing one in my mailbox and knowing that this person thought of me and took the time to write a note {not to mention buy a stamp!} I also love sharing the sentiment of a note with my friends and family. I keep a box of note cards on hand so I can just grab one and write if the mood strikes me or if a friend has been on my mind and heart lately. There is really no bad time to send a note, but a really good time is Valentine's Day. For me, Valentine's Day is not just for me and my man, but for sending encouragement and joy to all sorts of people.

Who can you encourage today? A friend who has been stuck at home with sick kids all week? A widow from your church who would love to feel remembered and connected? One of your kids' teachers? Your pastor's wife? Your mom?

This year I made my own set of Valentine cards, which are now available in my shop. While I was printing a sample of these cards I accidentally shrunk the image to half the size. The result was really cute mini note cards. The only thing better than pretty note cards is super-cute mini note cards! Attach these to gifts or bags of treats and drop them at the neighbors or take them to a local nursing home. There are so many ways to be a blessing by doing something as simple as writing a note.

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. 1 Thess 5:11

These mini cards were too cute to not run with, so I am offering them in a Valentine Bundle in the shop. The bundle includes 12 mini cards {4 of each design}, 1 8x10 Valentine print {you get to choose!}, and just for fun a 6 foot strand of paper heart bunting! Now you can send the love and brighten your home! Or send it all to a friend for a fun heartfelt surprise.

Head to the shop to check it out!

Thanks for visiting! Happy Monday!
