The patch {a family tradition}

This weekend we took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We have been going to this same patch for three years. It is fun to remember back at how small the kids were the last time we were out there. Baby was about six weeks out from delivery, so I was huge last year. The first year we went Bear was only 4 months old and it was FREEZING! I don't know about other pumpkin patches, this is the only one I have ever been to, but it is fun! There are tire swings, a hay bale maze, a barn slide, a petting zoo,, a tractor tricycle race course, a hayride out to a real pumpkin patch were you take the pumpkins off the vine yourself {none of this pick a pumpkin from a big pile of pumpkins nonsense}, and best of all THE PUMPKINATOR. They have an airport fire truck rigged up to shoot pumpkins out into a field. They fly so far and fast that you can't see them until they explode on the ground in the middle of the field. It's pretty awesome. The kids love this place. We had to drag them out despite their objections. They were jut too tired for any more fun. What are some of your family traditions this time of year?

The winner of the David Crowder Band CD is Lisa! Congratulations, you will get your CD soon!
